Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken

We have had food from here before and it was decent. Today they lost a customer after this experience. Mildly busy around 12 for Father's Day. Placed an order in store, waited for about 10-15 minutes and received the order. Got home and checked the bag and half the order was missing. The food that was in the bag was , with no other way to describe it, awful and inedible. Every single item in the bag was cold. I am not a picky eater at all, I couldn't even find one thing that didn't taste or look like it was sitting out for hours. The chicken was plastic tasting and the batter had a weird smell. The fries and tater tots were completely soggy. The biscuits, which are our go to were so bad the kids didn't even want them. I tried one and understood why, they were tasteless and dry. As I said we have had food here before that was decent but this was incredibly bad. For items that you could duplicate with store bought groceries and microwave for a better experience this was beyond belief. Just hit one of the many other options for chicken and biscuits in the area and don't waste your money here. The taglines of Righteous Chicken and Southern Biscuits are a joke.

Just visited RISE biscuits in Durham for a lunch sandwich and WOW - the Righteous Chicken is truly righteous. So juicy and cooked perfectly - soft, fluffy potato bun with some pickles and boom-boom sauce. This is my new go-to place when I want a chicken fix! Staff was super helpful and friendly. I ordered online and it was ready in minutes. A++++

This place was amazing, and they greet you when you walk in when you're at the Machines trying to figure out what you're going to order. They come around and ask, do you need any assistance? Is everything okay? I love this place. They were really fast, normally. They don't be fast. But this batch of people that you have now are amazing. They make sure you get your order in the timely manner. And they are so nice and kind. I appreciate them and putting a love and effort into my food and pouring into all the customers as they come here. Thank you

Rise Biscuits never disappoint! The biscuits are always fresh, made to order, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The South Durham location stands out not only for the food but also for the excellent customer service , the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcomed every time. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I want a hearty, delicious biscuit sandwich done right!

Really great service and a delicious menu of biscuits to choose from. Perfect for a quick bite or pickup, but not much seating indoors if it's cold out. I had the southern chicken biscuit and that pimento cheese did not disappoint!
